The Rolwaling Trek is one of the most spectacular trekking areas in Nepal. It offers outstanding views of the Himalayas along the northeastern side of the Fingerland, which juts into Tibet, northeast of the Kathmandu–Kodari–Lhasa highway. The trek features enchanting views of Mt. Gaurishankar (7,145m) on the border, and Mt. Melungtse I (7,181m) and Mt. Melungtse II (7,023m) in Tibet. The area is also home to the beautiful Tsho Rolpa, a glacial ice lake.
Many tourists are drawn here to experience the natural beauty as well as the unique lifestyle and culture of the Beding valley and Na, a traditional summer grazing village.
There is also a challenging route that leads to the Khumbu region via the Tesi Laptsa Pass. This is a well-known but very difficult trekking route that only a few trekkers attempt.
