Itinerary

Arrive in Kathmandu, where you will be transferred to your hotel. Later, attend a briefing session about the trek, including essential information and safety tips. Enjoy an introductory dinner with the group, preparing you for the journey ahead.
Take this day to rest, acclimatize to the altitude, and finalize any last-minute preparations. You may explore Kathmandu’s cultural sites or simply relax before your long trek.
Begin your overland journey to Syabrubesi, a gateway village to the Langtang region. The drive offers scenic views of rivers, terraced fields, and Himalayan foothills. The road can be rough and winding but rewarding with beautiful landscapes.
Start trekking through forests of rhododendron and pine. The trail passes several small villages and farmlands, gradually ascending to Lama Hotel, a popular teahouse area and rest stop for trekkers.
Continue ascending along the Langtang River, surrounded by towering peaks. Langtang Village is a traditional settlement with stunning views, rich cultural heritage, and warm hospitality.
Trek further up into the Langtang Valley to Kyangjin Gompa, a small settlement known for its monastery and panoramic views. This village serves as a base for exploring the surrounding glaciers and peaks.
Spend the day exploring the nearby glaciers and snowfields, taking in the dramatic alpine scenery. This day also helps with acclimatization to the higher altitude.
Take these two days to rest, recover, or optionally climb minor peaks nearby to further acclimatize and enjoy spectacular views. Your guide will help you decide the best option based on your fitness and weather conditions.
Begin descending from Kyangjin Gompa through beautiful alpine terrain to Ngegang, enjoying the lush surroundings and local villages.
This is one of the most challenging days, involving a steep ascent to the Ganja La Pass at 5,200 meters. The pass offers breathtaking panoramic views but requires good physical fitness and caution. After crossing, you descend to the village of Keldang for an overnight stay.
Continue descending through forested trails and rural settlements toward Dukpu, a small village known for its serene environment and traditional lifestyle.
The trail takes you through the Helambu region, rich in Tamang and Sherpa culture. Tarke Ghyang is a cultural highlight with its ancient monasteries and stone houses.
Follow scenic trails through forests and traditional villages, arriving at Sheramthang, a peaceful place surrounded by nature.
Continue trekking down through lush valleys and terraced fields to Melamchipul, where you will spend your final night on the trail.
After breakfast, embark on the drive back to Kathmandu, enjoying your last views of the hills and countryside before returning to the city.
