Overview
Helambu is a lush region north of Kathmandu inhabited by Sherpas and Tamang people, although the Sherpas here differ in their customs from those in the Everest region. The trek is easily accessible from Kathmandu.
It passes through beautiful forests and fascinating villages where many centuries-old customs are still practiced today. The trek finishes in Sundarijal, which is about an hour’s drive from our hotel in Kathmandu.
